Thank you to our Grantors
Albertsons
Your grant in 2020 allowed us to obtain a freezer truck, freezer, and laptop. These have been invaluable items and our members are very thankful to you for them.
Benton Community Foundation (BCF)
Your grants in 2017 and 2020 helped enable us to get fridges, dishwashers, washer, dryer, dishwasher, medical kits, buckets, metal buildings, a truck, and various other maintenance items for our sites. We appreciate your help in these areas.
Community Members
We especially appreciate the individual community members who have donated their hard earned money allowing us to acquire two additional fridges to preserve food while it is waiting on distribution.
Consumer Power Incorporated (CPI)
We were able to get additional food, some pink totes, and a heated pressure washer thanks to your generosity.
Ford Family Foundation
We are grateful for your grant which was used in the purchase of a truck, necessities and repairs, and a freezer.
Linn Benton Food Share (LBFS)
The 2017 grant we received from you helped us add 4 additional freezers and 4 additional fridges to our inventory expanding our ability to preserve and distribute food to those we serve. This contribution has been greatly appreciated.
Lincoln County Emergency Medical Services (LCEMS) through Alsea Community Effort (ACE)
Your grant in 2020 enabling our members to obtain Mylar and oxygen absorbers has been especially helpful as our members try and set aside some of the food we receive in preparation for the lean seasons.
Oregon Community Foundation (OFC)
The 2020 grants we got from you were used to help us obtain some big ticket items like a tractor, dump trailer, chipper, mower and bench grinder. This have been very useful in helping us expand the size and scope of our operations to help more people. We were also able to use some of your money to obtain some additional food for our members we would otherwise not have been able to afford.
Odd Fellows
In 2016 and 2018 your generosity helped us when we needed some totes, coolers, and tables for gleaning and organizing the food we were gathering. Thank you for stepping up to help us at this time.
Oregon State University (OSU) Folk Thrift Store
Your financial support in 2020 and again in 2021 enabled us to make much needed repairs at our distribution location, and also helped us in acquiring a wood splitter, axes, and other material for gleaning and processing wood. These items have been vital in helping us ensure our members in need stay warm during the colder portions of the year, thank you.
Ralph Hull
We appreciate you stepping up in 2020 and granting us the means to purchase a large amount of food. That food has touched the lives of many people who are as grateful as we are for your help.
Reser Family Foundation
In 2020 you contributed to our ability to get both a tiller and freezer. These have been extremely important as we try and help our members learn to grow and harvest food outside of the traditional gleaning options. We appreciate you being a part of this effort.
Spirit Mountain Community Fund (SMCF)
When we needed heating in 2019 your donation allowed us to provide not only a more comfortable setting for our members when they needed to come for a food distribution, but more importantly allowed us to keep the building at a more consistent and appropriate temperature so the food inside was not damaged. Thank you for helping us in this way.
Starker Forest
In both 2020 and 2021 you aided us as we were trying to prepare for our members wood needs. Your aid enabled us to get chain saws, a splitter, and other wood gathering items. We appreciate you helping us as we gather wood for those who need it.
Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund (STCCF)
Since 2016 you have been a consistent yearly benefactor of ours. Your dedication to helping us each year has allowed us to consistently provide food for those in need, and in some cases go above that to get things like medical supplies and a freeze dryer. We really appreciate your long and continued support of us.
Your $2,000 grant in 2021 was especially appreciated as it allowed us to continue obtaining food from Linn Benton Food Share (LBFS) during a particularly challenging year.
United Way
Thank you for your aid in 2020 and 2021, we were able to obtain quantities of beef, tuna, and other foods for those who needed it. You also enabled us to obtain some wild-fire relief canopies and a greenhouse which are helping us with our storage needs and new endeavors to grow and teach others to grow food.
World-Wide Outreach
The 2019 donation you gave us came at a critical time when we needed some large assets to prevent food spoilage as the number of people we have been reaching was increasing. You enabled us to solve a heating issue in one of our buildings, put up a new building, and gain additional freeze dryers and a new freezer. We appreciate both the magnitude and the timing of your help.
Christian People’s Church
Thank you for helping us as we try and reach those in need in our local and surrounding communities.
